1986-1989 | D.C.M. (Deputy Chief of Mission) Israeli Legation in Ankara, Turkey

1989-1991 | D.C.M. (Deputy Chief of Mission Israeli Embassy in Vienna, Austria (dealt with bilateral and United Nations issues)  

1991-1993 | Syria Desk Officer, Center for Political Research,Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jerusalem. Syrian desk officer, dealt also with the Syrian track in the peace talks in Washington D.C (the Madrid process).

1993-1998 | Counselor for Political and Middle East Affairs (number three in Embassy's hierarchy), Israeli Embassy, London, United Kingdom
