Maxime Bureau joined 3M in 2011 and leads its Government Affairs team for Europe, Middle East and Africa since May 2017. In parallel, Maxime has been elected Chairman of Board of the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU) in October 2017 and will support the development of this leading EU-US business organisation.

Previously, Maxime has spent 7 years with GE’s public policy team in Brussels following 4 years with Deloitte, based in Prague and providing advisory services across Central Europe. Maxime also worked with the European Commission in Brussels (PHARE programme, 1994-97) and Kiev (TACIS programme, 1997-99). Maxime completed his postgraduate at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium (1990), after a masters’ degree in economics from the University of Toulouse.   He earned an executive MBA at the University of New York in Prague (2004).
